Mixing Systems

Where liquids are shaken, not stirred

Why use vibratory mixing devices?

DrM’s FUNDAMIX® Vibromixers mix liquids and solids strictly by vibration. The use of small vibrations at high frequencies result in a mixing performance competitive with the conventional rotating devices but promoting:

– Low shear forces
– Vortex-less mixing
– No mechanical seal (no friction)
– No rotating parts
– Low maintenance
– Baffle-less mixing

Excellent pharmaceutical, microbiological and biochemical applications include insulin production, blood fractionations, preparation of sterile solutions, mixing of injectable suspensions in sterile vessels for ampoule filling, vaccine/oil emulsions, anaerobic fermentations, submerse culture of mammalian and plant cells, as well as protein solutions.

FUNDAMIX® Vibromixer

The FUNDAMIX® is a universal device for mixing in open or closed vessels, from laboratory scale to high volume production, under vacuum or pressure, even in sterile conditions.

Amplitude Monitor

Amplitude Monitor

The amplitude monitor is an optical laser sensor that measures the distance to an oscillating plate fixed on the shaft of the mixer every 1.5 ms. These values are algorithmically converted into an analog reading shown on an integrated display.
